We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our engineering department. The successful candidate will oversee the development and innovation of our capsule endoscope products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead the interdisciplinary engineering team containing electronics, mechanical & optics engineers, and firmware developers
Lead in the design and development of capsule endoscope products.
Oversee all stages of product development, from concept to production.
Cooperate on vision creation of the product and execute it
Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to align engineering projects with business goals.
Collaborate with external partners for setting up and running prototypes and mass production batches
Develop and manage the engineering budget.
Implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in medical technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in device engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
General knowledge about electronic engineering - schematic and PCB design, PCB manufacturing & assembly, etc.
Basic knowledge about mechanical engineering - different types of prototyping and production processes, etc.
Basic knowledge about Firmware engineering - MCU code development, good practice, Internet of Things working principles, etc.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with regulatory standards in the medical device industry.
Nice to have
Extensive knowledge of capsule endoscope technology,
Extensive knowledge about electronic engineering
Experience with medical device engineering
Experience with obtaining CE certificates for regular and/or medical device
